20년 뒤 사람들은 인쇄된 책을 사용하지 않을것이다. "20 years from now people will not use printed books." |
It could be debatable whether or not 20 years from now people will use printed books. Some people might say that people in the future will still employ printed books. However, in opposition to this view, I totally agree with the idea that people living in 20 years will not use printed books for the following reasons. To begin with, there have been many problems with regard to current printed books. One significant reason is that we have been cutting down a host of trees across the globe in order to produce papers for books. In addition to that, the process of cutting down trees gives rise to other negative results. To putting it more specific, as we have used myriads of trees for making books, there are fewer trees than in the past. As we can see, one of the most important functions of trees is to provide fresh oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide that is the well-known greenhouse gas. If many trees will have been used for the purpose of making books, people will come across the unhealthy lives because the decrease in the number of trees will not fresh air and even worse may threaten our lives in unhealthy ways. On top of that, people in the future do not have to use printed books because existed printed books can be replaced with other cutting-edge gadgets with the aid of the development of information technology and other related engineering. To illustrate, many scientists and engineers all over the world are conducting research and developing more advanced e-papers. E-papers have many advantages. Its weight is extremely light nearly similar to a piece of paper when compared to current printed books and it can not only contain a great deal of knowledge but also receive rapidly changing and various information through the electronic waves. In addition, if we use e-papers, we do not have to cut down many trees. To sum up, I wholeheartedly believe that people in the future will not use printed books. Instead, people in 20 years use the more advanced e-papers because they have excellent advantages and people want to prevent useful trees from being cut down. All things considered, current printed books will have been replaced with the more convenient and environmentally friendly replacements over time. |
