Should children spend most of their time at play, or should they start going to school as early as possible? |
Childhood is very important years for most people. Some people may think that children should go to school in early years of childhood with a reason of gainning educational benefits, while others consider playing as a more significant factor for a early development of childhood. I agree with the second opinion in which playing helps children learn not only about skills for socializing but also a sense of love from their parents.
To begin with, when it comes to learning about socializing with others, playing is a better way than just attending at a school. Although school can teach lessons for socializing, it only provide knowledge from textbook. On the contray, playing teaches children in a more pratical way. It is very important for children to learn about socializing because they will use this skill in their adulthood. By playing with friends, children can naturally learn a way of socializing with others. My young brother, for example, did not attend any formal schools untill his age of eight. Instead of attending at school, my mom let my younger brother to go outside for playing with his peers in order to build his skills to socialize with people of his age groups. Thus, playing definately helps children to learn a way of socializing with others.
In addition, as far as sensing a great love from parents, playing considers as the best way. Before attending at school or some kinds of private learning centers, children should learn a love from parents in order to approciate for parents' unconditional caring. Children must be aware of the fact that parents are the one who brought a living brith to those children. Although a child learn a lot about academic materials, it will be not valuable if he or she does not approciate for his or her parents' love. Kim, who was a muderer to kill more than 10 students at Virginia Tech., was smart student but failed to know love from their parents. This was reason why Kim could kill students and made such a horrible event. Hence, children should learn love from their parents by playing at home
In conclusion, playing is more important than going to school in early ages. This is because it helps students to naturally build a skill of socializing with others and fully understand love from their parents. |
