Do you agree with the following statement? Being hap[y with a job is more important than having a high salary. Use specific reasons and examples to support you answer. |
We live in a capitalism world. Some people say that nothing can be powerful than money in our society. It is true that one can do everything with money such as buying a luxurious car, and travel overseas. Also one does not need to worry about money, if he or she is wealthy. However, when it comes to getting a job, I strongly believe that being happy is far more important than having a high income. This is because money does not guarantee one’s happiness. Moreover, a person who works in the field which he is interested in is likely to succeed. To begin with, money does not outweigh being happy. If people work what they like, it is obvious that they are satisfied with their lives. For example, one of my friends who went to real world told me “I recommend you to get a job that you are eager to work.” He worked for a large company, Samsung, and earned a lot of money. That fact helped him not need to concern about money. However, after getting out his firm, he seemed stressed out and exhausted. And he lost weight and was getting thinner. What is the worse, he could be off per a month. Finally, he decided to quit the job, and got another that he wanted to do. He said “I used to be a working machine in Samsung. But after I chose the work which I was interested in, I am pretty happy!!” In addition, working which one wants guarantees one’s success in the field. If workers do what they adore, they tend to work efficiently and with enthusiasm. And also there will be more chance to find out one’s calling. For instance, the president of Apple computer, Steve Jobs, left out his university without completing course, and did what he was passionate about. He works his task with his colleagues even in the garage. But he did his best despite of the harsh environment, and achieved his goal. He chose what he was eager to and succeeded. And also he found his calling. To sum up, I agree with the given statement that happiness is more a significant fact than a high salary. If one work in the field which he or she likes, money will just follow. Moreover, it is obvious that working that people want gives them a chance to find their callings and to succeed.
