To be a good teacher, they must effectively encourage their students get knowledge. Their range of knowledge must be wide enough to teach their students. Also, they have to be believable teachers. Based on these segments, they can be qualified as good teachers. Wide knowledge covers various curiosities of students. Furthermore, it is likely to encourage students to participate in the class. Indeed, when I was, for instance, sixteen years old, I met one of my mathematic teachers. Although he taught us mathematics, we were able to learn economic as well in the class. He was teaching us how money was flowing through our society, which looked interesting for us, by using mathematics indirectly. Thus, while we paid attention to get the idea of the cash flow, naturally we were sponging such boring notions of mathematics easily. However, having much knowledge is not enough to be a good teacher. Being a believable teacher for students is the second paramount qualification for a good teacher. In general speaking, students want to establish a rapport with their teachers as a leader of school life. There were an interesting experiment, researchers broke up one class in high school into two groups, and each group had different teachers. One of two was ordered to teach the students restlessly in a way that conveyed the teacher was unreasonable, the other one taught students in a way that students were able to trust the teacher. Then both of classes took a same test. The result of the test was that the class who had the reasonable teacher got much higher score than the other one. The researchers found out that if students begin to believe their teachers, they tend to become more passionate to the class than before. Radically, having varied knowledge is required to be a good teacher. The teachers could choose the way to teaching among many options. Also, Reasonable personality is the second important elements. Their personality can allow students to believe them. At last, to conduct these factors, the best teacher has to bend over backwards for their students. |
