It is good to take the most difficult and challenging class. Do you agree or disagree? (쓰는데 40분걸렸네요-,,-....고치는것 포함해서 ㅠㅠ) |
When we solve a really difficult problem or report that cannot be done ourselves, we are often disappointed and usually give up the problem or the report. Of course, some people insist that if we do our best and try and try again, we can solve a difficult problem and be full of confidence. However, this kind of challenging is sometimes can be a great achievement, but this often turns out to be just wasting a lot of time and also be burden to other people. Most of all, when we do something that is considered hard to do, we usually feel exciting at first. However, as the time pass; we realize that it is not interesting and just give up the work. As a result, we waste time and effort too. Let me take my experience for example. When I was in middle school, there was a special English course which was called “SEC” I wanted to participate that course, so I visited the office and talk with a counselor of the office. However, since it was really difficult English course to just a middle school boy, the counselor rejected me to participate in the course. But I thought that I was pretty good at English, I was full of confidence. So, I went the office everyday to join the course and persuade the counselor. Finally, for my persistent effort, they allowed me to join the course. However, the problem began at this time. As the counselor said to me, it was very difficult that I couldn’t solve even just one question. But I thought that it is good to take difficult and challenging class, since I can learn more about the subject that other students supposed to learn at least, I just kept participating in there. Finally, when I finished the course, I realized that I couldn’t get anything. This shows that just taking a difficult and challenging course is not good at all. Next, if we take difficult and challenging class, we can be just burden to other people. Let me take another experience. As I mentioned above, when I was taking the SEC course, since I didn’t know almost everything, everyday I asking a lot of questions and often interrupting the class kept going. However, I couldn’t catch up my classmates, so I couldn’t even participate in after class study group. Consequently, I was just burden to the other students. Although they said “it’s okay” and “because you are the youngest boy in our class, we all understand” like these, I was just sorry for them. To sum up, since it is not good for me and even other people, I strongly believe that just joining a really difficult and challenging class without any measure is not good for everyone. |
