Before starting, my definition of the statement 'The decisions that people make quickly are always wrong' is that the result of the decision is not always wrong. If I am mistaken, please let me know.

When it comes to the statement, ‘The decisions that people make quickly are always wrong’, I stand opposite to the view. Although careful thoughts could be more convincing, quick decisions are not always wrong in two respects: many cases need a quick decision which can lead to good consequences and it can avoid the confusions arising from thinking too much.
Good start.
To begin with, there are many professions where quick decisions are essential. This is especially true when emergent situation or a fast reaction is needed like in the situation when an accident happens. Too much thought can give more disadvantage or damage than quick decisions. For example, if there is an accident which can sway people’s life, quick decisions are essentially needed to policemen and the rescue party. The reason is that a momentary hesitating reaction or decision can bring much more casualties. Few days ago, there was a car accident near my town, and it could have caused many casualties. However, the policemen’s quick decision and conducting helped avoid the terrible result. Therefore, many occupations require quick decisions.
First, there was an accident, which could have caused many casualties, but, thanks to the quick decision of the policemen, the result was not so terrible. Therefore, you cannot say 'can avoid the terrible accident' since the accident has already took place.
Second, you cannot say 'emergent situation... is needed'. It doesn't make sense.
Third, we are supposed to talk about 'right or wrong' of the result, not about 'necessary or not'. We have to show that quick decisions are not always wrong. or in many cases quick decisions are right. However, you are claiming that 'quick decisions are necessary in some areas'. I guess you are somewhat going off the track here.
What is more, quick decisions can avoid the great confusion, which can arise from the too much careful thought. This is true because when people think too much, they often care too many things deeply which cannot make any decision. Moreover, you can give bad impression to other people because of your behavior which may seem as if you are not interested in the talk or situation. However, quick decisions can keep away from this kind of result. A shinning example of this is the job interview. Most job interviews require quick but influential reactions or decisions to the interviewer. Nevertheless, if a person could not answer for the question because of too much thinking, it can give bad impression to the interviewer. Given this, the too much think can bring great confusion occasionally.
First, I'm sorry but I do not understand what you are trying to mention in the underlined sentence.
Second, as is already mentioned in the preceeding paragraph, I don't think we have to talk about the situations where quick decisions are preferred.
To sum up, I disagree with the statement that the decisions that people make quickly are always wrong. Not only do they help you to overcome with the urgent situation but also they can help you avoid the confusions from the too much thought.
First, 'it' does not avoid the confusions. It is YOU or WE that avoid the confusions. Therefore, I believe that the correct way of saying this is 'it can help us to avoid the confusion'.
Second, you have to use a plural noun to refer to the word 'decisions'.
