their advertisement in order to succeed. Some people might argue that it is the
best way to improve their brand image, market sale through advertising. In my
opinion, however, there are several ways for companies to succeed without
expensive advertisement.
First of
all, it is possible for companies to promote their brand image instead of
putting a lot money on their advertisement. In modern society, people are often
exposed a myriad of commercial already and thus it makes people actually less
pay attention the advertisement anymore. repeated advertisement might even lead
a negative image of the company to customer. For example, Mirea asset, one of
biggest financial bank in Korea. They have been using a strategy to promote
their company image through giving scholarship for Korean students who want to
study abroad. This exchange student scholarship program create positive image
of the financial firm. Before this scholarship program, people often see the
firm as vicious financial firm that does not care about their social community.
As a result, the company could get more profit than ever before. This example
clearly demonstrates company could improve their image without advertisement.
Secondly,
it is possible for company to use another strategy to increase their market
sale without advertisement. As globalization is continue companies are now
seeking for new market in foreign countries. Investing money to build up
factories or using foreign countries cheap resources or labor could be more
another way to increase their profit. In addition, company could use other
elements that can bring success to a company such as a good customer service,
product development and even employee training. For example, Samsung, one of
biggest electronic company. they are well known for a good customer service and
guaranteed a better after service. People not just consider solely their brand
image presented through their advertisement when they buy their products. This
illustrates other elements are more important than advertisement itself to increase
a company's profit.
In
conclusion, I strongly believe that investing a lot of money on advertising to
succeed is not necessary. This is because company find a way to improve their
brand image and market sale without expensive advertisement.
