“When people succeed, it is because of hard work. Luck has nothing to do with success”. Do you agree or disagree with this statement? |
“In order to succeed, hard work is the best thing we need; luck is not necessary”. It seems like many people think there is no correlation between hard work and luck in order to succeed. Hard work is really important. It is likely to be regarded that hardship is more likely crucial aspect for success. However, the question is ‘the only hard work make people succeed?’ The disputes following will be support my points.
Fist of all, good education and career are one of the simplest example that require hard work. For my view, receiving a good education, and obtaining a good job will be mean to succeed. For that reason, many students are competing to get universities because it provides better career. However, since attending prestigious universities is not an easy; probably, it requires innumerous hard work. For example, since the universities need to figure out beneficial students, they have entrance exams. In that reason, students, who are admiring to go their ideal universities, would be passionate for their studying. In this view, I agree to the fact that hard work is critical to be successful. However, intelligence and hard work are the only factors for success?. For many cases, education is not always guarantee the success, rather than since many people regard university degree as a pathway to success, it has become no special anymore. Besides, if we look at surroundings carefully, we may notice that there are a lot of people who are not success, even though they graduated famous universities. For example, my friend, who attended one of the greatest universities in my country and work really hard, remain just an average salary man, and sometimes we hear the story about successful people who were really poor or normal people that have really successful achievement just because of one coincident finding. For this view, I would like to say that it is difficult to success without any luck. To sum up, I admit the fact that hard work is vital for succeed. However, I think hard work is a just a base, and in most cases, the successful people are who have both hard work and luck. Therefore, I disagree with the statement that luck is nothing to do with success. |
