University and college and high school should teach students about specific careers and jobs instead of general knowledge and subject. |
Some people say that university, college and high school should offer students to specific education related to future careers and jobs instead of general knowledge and subject. Of course, there are benefits to learn general knowledge and academic subjects. However, I agree with the idea that real practices should be given by a university, college and high school for job's problems and participation of classes. To begin with, taking courses related to specific careers help students to getting a better job. It is common knowledge that school is preparation step before going to society. Thus, it is clear sense that having real practices in school is more beneficial than taking academic programs. For example, my sister had not good scores in her university days but had lots of experiences real work such as intern or part-time. On the other hand, her friend called Jun-Kim had high grade on studies but no experiences that my sister had. After they graduated from school, my sister had more chance to choosing company than Jun-Kim for having specific skills. In addition, providing students with specific skills shows high participation in classes. It is because that a class influences their close future directly. A survey conducting in Korea Research Institute discovers that the attendance rate between general subjects and specific subjects such as including practice hours has gap considerably. Of course, many students intended to take part in actual training time. It means that giving specific education programs including skills in real work is more attractive to a lot of students. In brief, to get a better occupation and to lift high participation at classes, schools provide students to actual skills and training rather than academic education. Therefore, I agree with the statement that students should be deserved classes related to their jobs and careers by schools. |
