A long line of horizon, ample land and beautiful trees could be seen in the countryside. Also, countryside offers fresh air and clean environment. Indeed, countryside might be the best place to educate children, especially about nature. Nonetheless, in my opinion, children are not likely to have qualitative education from the country side. In fact, it will be better for them to grow at a big city since they could have access to quality education and broaden their perspectives,
Children could have higher education in a big city. This is because most of important educational institutions of countries are placed in the big city. For example, Korean popular elementary school named "Chosen,” which is in top tenth, is situated in Seoul, Korean capital city. In addition, the most predominant middle school, Sejeoung, is placed in Bussan which is the second biggest city in Korea. In contrast, when it comes to country side, children might not be able to gain proper education. There would be lack of teachers or schools because there are no institutions to build schools in the place where there are few children. Even though academic learning is not everything, it is necessary for children to prepare for their future. Therefore, it will be better for children to live in a big city.
Moreover, children could have chances to have a variety of friends. The big city could be called as a hub of different cultures. Children from a number of countries come to certain country, or big city for education. In the case of Indonesia, there are many children from different countries in Jakarta. According to research conducted by Indonesian Times, roughly 40 percent of them are from England or other European countries. Other 30 percent is occupied by Asian children, such as Korea and China while the other 30 percent is comprised of 5 countries. As a result, children living in the city are able to learn about distinctive traditions, cultures and nations, which allow them to broaden their perspectives. Needless to say, it could be related to their success. Hence, it is preferable for children to live in a big city.
In conclusion, I obviously believe it is beneficial for children to live in a big city. First, they could gin high-quality education. Second, they could meet a lot of friends from different nations. To be prepared for globalization, it is imperative for children to live in a big city. |
