Everyday, we are exposed to numerous advertisements especially from TV, which has great power to our lives. Some people might believe that most advertisements exaggerate their goods to sell and make more profits. However, to contrast to this view, I firmly argue that it is not true that advertisements make their products to be seen much better than really they are since it is illegal to deceive consumers and almost companies know that it would be irreparable damage to them to make cheating advertisements.

However, in contrast to this view, I firmly argue that it is not true that advertisements make products to be seen much better than really that are since it is illegal to deceive consumers, and most companies know that it causes irreparable damage to them.
First of all, in my country, we have the law for protecting consumers' right to know correctly. Many investigator exam products' capacities and compare to the advertisements. The company which tries to cheat by advertisements gets penalty to pay a huge amount of fortune and is ordered to amend those. To be specific, the survey, which is conducted by the association of Korean consumers in 2006, shows that many companies try to require to their advertisement agencies to make advertisement to advertise what they really are due to the penalties which is burden to them.
First of all, in my country, we have a law established for protecting consumers’ right-to-know by enforcing companies to provide correct information on their products. Many government investigators examine products comparing information provided by their advertisements. With this process, the companies exaggerating actual features of products through advertisements are not only charged a huge amount of penalties but ordered to amend the advertisements. To be specific, the survey conducted by the Association of Korean Consumers in 2006 shows that many companies fairly advertised their products the way what they really were due to the likely penalties imposed when they brag features of their products through advertisements.
Moreover, most of companies know what is better way to make profits. They already have experienced that if they cheat consumers they couldn't sell their products any longer because these days brand power become more important than ever. So they try to build trustful brand images which are directly affects the quantity of selling goods. For example, MICROSOFT, which is famous for incredible capacity to manipulate C.P.U the most important part of computer, makes people feel to purchase only their products because this company acquires buyers' trust. The company haven't made overstate or cheating but honest advertisements which allow them to get people's trust.
Moreover, most companies know what a better way to make profit is than bragging their products through advertisements – keeping their brand name positive. They have already experienced that they cannot sell their products any longer if they deceive consumers. In this sense, producing fabricated advertisements ruins their company images right away. For example, Microsoft, the company famous for the incredible capacity of manipulating C.P.U, which is the most important part of computer, makes people purchase their products based on their trust toward the company brand name; this company hasn’t been reported either making overstatements or cheating consumers but producing honest advertisements which allow them to get people’s trust.
To sum up, I strongly believe that most advertisements show what they really are because if they deceive consumers it is unlawful and there is no one who tries to worsen their brand images affecting selling products. Honest (honesty) is the best way to improve brand images influential to make profits.
