There is an ongoing debate on which is better way to complain between in writing and in person. Some people prefer complaining in person, saying that it is able to get answer quickly. In opposition to this, I strongly agree with the idea that complaining in writing is more efficient. This is because it is logical and convenient. To begin with, complaining in writing can be more persuasive. When people write what they think, it can be delivered a message more logically. However, speaking in person can be more emotional, especially, when people are under the weather. To illustrate, last week, I went to a chinese restaurant in order to treat dinner to my parent. Since it was famous restaurant, I did not expect unpleasant situations. After ordering meals, I had to wait for an hour in order to have meals. It was so annoying, and finally ruined the precious family gathering. What I really wanted to do was to call a manager and showed my anger, but I choose not to do it. After returning home, I sent a mail to the restaurant instead. In the letter, I could explain my situation thoroughly and appeal to a manager. When I went to the restaurant again, they gave me a free meal coupon as a present. In this sense, it is useful for people to complain in writing because it is more rational. On top of that, people can complain at home with easy when they write a letter. These days, most of the companies have internet service center for customer. Since the device was for the convenience of customers, people can easily access the service and get answer quickly. For instance, one month ago, I went to a shopping mall with my friend in order to buy a winter coat. After some reflection, I bought a beautiful coat for my mother. However, when I returned home, I found out that it was not the one that I choose. The clerk made a mistakes and put another one in the box. Therefore, I left my message at on -line service center, they immediately answer for me. Without spending time and energy, I could get reimbursement from them. In this regard. complaining on-line provide people with convenience. To sum up, I definitely believe that it is useful for people to complain in writing. This is because it can make people complain wisely and does not need much time to spend. As the world are becoming complex, people tend to encounter many unexpected circumstances. In an effort to deal with these situations, complaining in writing is a valuable way for delivering a message. |
