Some people say that a person’s behavior is not determined by exterior uniform but by interior minds and the way of thinking. So, they believe that different clothes do not have power to change one’s behavior. However, I do not agree with that point of view. I believe that different clothes make peoples’ behavior differently. I have two main reasons to support my opinion. To begin with, there are some requests to special uniforms. A person wearing school uniform should act like students and a person wearing judge’s uniform should act confidently and coldly. Many people judge a person by their clothes and expect behavior suitable for the clothes. So, the person feels the sight of others and makes an effort to meet the expectations. For example, a police officer wearing police officer uniform acts bravely, but when the police officer does not wear the uniform in house, the man might be a common father who enjoys playing with his children. On top of that, peoples feel differently according to their clothes, so the way of act is changed according to their clothes. If a person wear casual look, the person feel more comfort and behave more freely than wear suit. When I wear skirt, I act more girlish and my actions are deactivated. However, when I wear pants, I feel more comfort and my actions are more activated. Judging by personal experience, I think people act differently when they wear different clothes. To sum up, some people say that a person’s behavior is determined by interior minds and his or her thinking. However, people are subject to behave by requests to special uniforms and peoples feel differently according to their clothes so the way of he or she acts are changed. Thus I agree that people behave differently when they wear different clothes. |
