Those who think social interaction plays an important role might say that spending time with others benefits them in mitigating stress and taking a rest. In opposition to this point, I firmly believe that spending time by oneself is the optimal way to relax and get rid of stress because of avoiding interruption and acquiring time for pondering.
To begin with, we can avoid to be interrupted by others when we are alone. When we stay with others, we have to consider people around us and this will surely make us to feel tired and stressful. This is because not only should we listen to their remark and react for it, but also we may not concentrate on what we want to do. For instance, when I went to the workshop last month and slept in a big room with others, I could not take a rest comfortably because I had to listen other people's noize and sometimes hit by someone who was lying right beside of me. My personal experience clearly shows that being alone is the best way to avoid disturbance.
What is more, we may have chance to contemplate to relax when spending time alone. Through thinking about ourselves, we may come up with the solutions about our worries and become less stressful. However when we stay with others, it is hard to think about ourselves since we should care for others. To illustrate, from the world history, we may find the fact that famous scientists invented the new method or solution when they were alone relaxing and controlling their stress. This reveals that acquiring the situation to ponder oneself surely enables one to be free of stress and help to achieve something.
In sum, I strongly insist that the utmost way to calm down stress and relax is to be alone rather than being with others. The rationale behind this is that interruption by others can be limited and chance to contemplate is guaranteed. All in all, being alone makes us to be healthy free of stress. |
