The news media is a reliable source for unbiased information. Use specific reasons and examples to support your answers. |
There is a controversy over whether the news media is a reliable source for unbiased information or not. Some people might believe that the news media is reasonable and confident source for information(반복되는 느낌이 강해서 ^^ ;). However, I am certain that the news media is not a good way to use for delivering reliable information. This is because the news media can used for bad purposes, is produced very quickly, and have possibility of errors. 고고싱~ :D) Above all, the news media is often used for a certain purpose in order to persuade the public. In other words, some articles provided people with a special aim view, letting the public know the unbiased knowledge by someone who wanted to offer wrong information. To explain, many articles had lack of information when it had been offered because the owner of the news media is a big company so that the company wants manipulated the articles in a good way. For example, SAMSUNG, the most famous company in -------------------------------- 엇 ; -ㅅ- ; 갑자기 일이 생겨서 일단은 여기까지 하겠슴돠~ 열공하세용 !! +_+ Moreover, majority of the information or articles made so quickly that the contents they show are not reliable. To be more specific, the news media offers a lot of news everyday. Therefore, some articles produced in a short time to meet a deadline have a tendency of showing lack of indispensable facts. For example, reporters used to write an article without confirming whether incident is correct or not in order to press the newspaper on time. This means that the news media does not necessarily provide the truth. Hence, we have to think about what are the hidden facts below the articles. Finally, statistics showing results when reporting research in the newspaper could be fabricated. What I mean is that there is probability of containing wrong facts, leading people to unreasonable thoughts. For instance, major newspaper publishing company has manipulated the statistics indicating how many people support a certain candidate in order to elect the candidate who the company wants. Statistics were so difficult that normal people who did not have background of it could not understand well resulting in misunderstand the true facts. Thus, this example clearly shows that the news media is doubtful. To sum up, although the news media usually give the public good information, it is not always reliable in that the source of its articles could be modified for several reasons. Therefore, people have to read the newspaper with a their own thoughtful opinion. |
