Some people believe that university students should be required to attend classes. Others believe that going to classes should be optional for students. Which point of view do you agree with? |
시험날짜는 다가오고...모르는거 투성이고..-_ㅠ;; I really need your advices ㅠ_ㅠ
Going into university means that each student may have its own decision, and surely the student feels free to take classes what he/she wants. That is an optional device to the student who deserves it. I hold two opposite idea that students should be required to attend classes. Today’s society goes around busy, so student should arrange their time wisely. Some students want to earn money while they are taking classes. They probably prefer to get good scores at the school and earn some money as the proverb saying ‘Killing two birds with one stone.’ In this case, if a student takes internet based lecture, it is possible to go to work and save the time rather attend in-class. It would be comfortable to take the internet class when he/she gets home and taking his/her own chair, without any interruption as it was in class. By dealing with two tasks- working at the job and studying-, the student should divide the time to both study and work. If he/she takes internet based lecture, he/she can learn about the subject at any time he/she wants. Go to work in the morning and study after the work ends. I think it is a good way for the student to take an advantage of its tasks. Additionally, sometimes students need revival of features of professor’s lecture. However, most of professors don’t repeat their statement during the class, so students should carefully focus on the lecture. One time, I was in a class noting a professor’s points of his discourse. While I focused on each part-noting and listening-, I missed an important part of his saying of the subject. Unfortunately, the missed point was shown on the test day, and I got low score because of it. However, when I took an internet based class, I got the lecture unlimited, and I kept watching the screen so that I might study until I understand it. After took the class, I got a good score. As started in my opinions above, I agree with the idea that it is more beneficial to take the class optionally than to attend in class. By taking that choice, it is possible to save time, study effectively, focus deeply, and end up when I fully understand. |
