▶ Your Answer : For most, universities play an important role in their lives. There are obviously many opinions regarding this question but it is evident that universities should give the same amount of money to their students' sports activities. The concepts of stress and efficiency clearly show this idea.
First, people are alreadly too stressed out. However, they can forget about work for a little bit when they alreadly have too much on their plate. This is why, if people participate in sports activities, they can excercsise and communicate with others. The situcation will help them get rid of stress. Take my friend Tom's experience, for example. The fact that the university invested a lot of money in making excersise clubs helped him struggle less from stress. Last year, he joined many clubs. This happened during a time when he was getting 5 hours of sleep due to excessive work. He, having an outlet, was able to manage stress. He could get away from his daily routine and refresh himself. The experience is compable to the experience of people who join sports club. They will forget about a stressful situation.
Also, spending money to students' activities is more efficient. Universities can utilize their resources more efficiently and do not have to worry about wasting so much money. Therefore, universities should give money to students' sports activities because they can make the most of their money. Take a university which I attened, for example. I got the impression that it was very efficient when the university made many kinds of sport activity clubs. By joining many activity clubs, not only did I interact with others who are from various areas but I could broaden my perspective with them. The same situation would apply to other universities that focuse on investing activities for their students. They can save a lot of resources because of efficiency.
To some, it may seem like giving money to their students sports activities is not necessary. However, through the examples related to stress and efficiency, one can logically conclude that universities should give money to studuents' activities. |
