First of all, people go to museums to increase their knowledge in the specific place. Visitors want to know about its culture, history or where it comes from. This can be done by various ways. For example, in a national museum, artifacts and historical records are displayed so that people are allowed to see them. There are also curators who explain in details about the displayed things. As they are original and truthful, the visitors are easily gain information about the place. More than that, people not only go to museums because they learn informative facts but also because they find it fascinating and exciting to experience visually and verbally rather than getting information simply in a computer web site. When I was young, I went to a national museum where all the facts about Japan invading Korea. I saw several spaces which described the ways Japanese soldiers torture Koreans. There were dummies wearing my country’s traditional costumes and there were sounding effects as well. It was really realistic and touching that I almost cried. If the travelers planned to stay in the country or the specific area for a while, it is a great idea to visit museums. People learn the atmosphere of the place and understand the way local people think as well. They can understand how the place was developed and changed in order by learning its past.
