high school should allow students to study what students want |
These days, many people put their energy into high school days to make their life successful. As rapid increase importance of high school education, people often debate that whether students should learn about subjects which are exciting or regulated. In my opinion, I strongly believe that adolescent students should learn about subjects what they have interests in because it makes the class atmosphere more voluntary. Moreover, by doing so, youths can drill their talents in certain fields earlier. In the beginning, learning about subjects which students want to dig in provides them with more spontaneous circumstance. If they make a decision in their own hands, the class would be have fostered participation rate and more conductive air. To be specific, according to a recent research, schools that students choose their subjects are much higher in the degree of joining in class than others that enforce its curriculum. This shows that the more option they can choose, the more passion they have with stronger responsibility. Therefore, selecting what they study makes students more eager to learn and have a deepen sense of liability. In addition, students can develop their abilities in early days when selecting their fields to study. Since, in the real world, a little gap controls one’s grade, it is the key point of success how fast the time that one has built his or her capacity is. To illustrate my sister’s example, when she was seven years old, she revealed her ability in drawing. Then, she steadily attempted to enter an art school, and eventually, she specialized in a water color painting in her newly entered high school. Now, she has become one of the most potential artists in Korea due to her competitive power refined since early days. In this point of view, it is crucial for high school students to choose their parts to study because they can prepare and make a deep foundation for the future. To summarize, for high school students, it is beneficial to decide what to study because it can raise their studying attitude more voluntary. What’s more, it also gives a chance to make their life successful by enlarging their skills. All in all, not to remain regrets after graduation, students should learn their most wanted subjects and run to their goals. |
