|
The current college students are more likely to procrastinate their duty of essence of the students in doing some studies when or what they want to. Probably, exams could be efficient for students to study more hard than that. This is because the exams encourage students more efficiently to achieve their academic goal and to absorb the information they have to learn.
First of all, the college students could effectively study their academic subject by preparing each subject exams. Nowadays, college students tend to linger their study they should do. They do not know the results from the foot-lagging studies, which could affect their academic goal - achieving the general studies - when they graduate from the college. However, the subject exam will be effective for them. For example, during my college years, I was trying to prepare my each exam at my best on these subjects. As a result of such effort, as time goes by, I was getting more a large of information and finally, I could graduate my college with good grade. This evidently shows that preparing the exams will be helpful for students to successively graduate from school.
Moreover, exams could be the place where students can compete with each other, which can help students to gain more information than others. Since they are able to see themselves their grade from the exams comparing other students on the grade points and ranking, they can’t help doing some effort to win the good grade at exams. For example, according to a survey reported by a Korean National Research Center, the efficiency of learning students' subjects when students are competitive under the exams is higher than when excepting for the exams. Therefore, it seems to be conducive for students to study under the exams.
To sum up, the one good way to enhance the students' learning ability and to encourage students to get more easily their academic goals could be the exams.
