People move from place to place wasting their time, money and effort. To illustrate some negative effects of frequent moving, it is not economic and there is no guarantee that people will be happier after moving. Moreover, people will not be able to adapt to new situation quickly.
When moving, it is very clear that substantial amount of money is required. People have to spend money on various things including packing their belongings, serving old and new neighbors and buying new items or furniture. For example, if one is moving from a dormitory to an apartment, he has to buy new equipments such as pillows and utensils. Additionally, he may have to decorate the new house or treat the new neighbors.
Moreover, there are some people who cannot get used to a new circumstance easily. Those people who failed to familiarize to new environment might be frustrated and serious consequences can be brought about such as loneliness, depression or lack of confidence. For instance, many people who lived in rural areas moved into cities, however, because they were unable to adapt to urban area and it’s life, some of them went back to their hometown and majority of them did not manage to live happily.
Finally, people might merely think that moving to a new place will bring them a better life. However, unfortunately, there is no absolute certainty that things will turn out better. According to a recent survey, approximately seventy percent of people who moved to a new place were dissatisfied. This survey tells that people have to face a great risk when moving to new places.
Moving to other places is risky because it is difficult to get used to a new milieu, costly and lastly, no one can ensure that a new place is better than the previous one. Trying a new place can also be a good experience. However, because it can lead to big failure, staying in one place will be a better choice. |
