In 20 years, students will use paper books no longer. Do you agree or disagree? 안쓰다 쓰니까 시간내에 잘 안써지내요. 39분 걸렸습니다. 시험이 4일 후인데 앞으로 계속 써봐야겠네요 에휴 |
There is a dispute on whether paper books will be used by students in 20 years or not. Some people insist that electronic device, such as E-book, will replace paper books with incredibe conveniences it provides. However, I firmly believe that paper books will still remain popular among students in 20 years because they are easily accessible and affordable.
More than anything else, it is easy to retain books in any place of the world. Although E-books are now being used through internet or portable device such as PMP, it can only be acquired by people who have enough money and within the country where internet access is established. Thus even in the future, there still be many undeveloped countries where E-books are out of reach and those countries will continue to use paper books. For instance, recent study conducted by Chosun daily News showed that almost half of the earth population are not accessible to internet and unable to use E-book. This indicates that books are easy to obtain than E-book.
Moreover, books are very easy to read. Many people have trouble reading through LCD or monitor because they easily feel tired by recieving electronic wave. They also have hard time to locate where they have finished reading last time. These disadvatages will spur students in the future to stick to the paper books. To illustrate, many companies in Korea started E-book service several years ago, anticipating it will be widely used by people. However, they did not appeal to people and only a few remains to have profits nowadays. It shows that books are preferable since they are easy to read.
In conclusion, I think that paper books will be used as much as today even in 20 years later because it can reach most people at any part of the world. Not only that, but also convenience of reading paper books will attract students to buying them in the future. All in all, paper books will still remain as the main position despite of the attact of E-book. |
