A lot of controversy exists over whether the news media is an impartial information or not. Of course, the public press give us much impormation quickly, however I think that the media has a biased inclinement. These reasons are that not only does the media interwine with thier stakeholder but many media institutions also try to distort precise facts in order to attract thier public interest .
To start with, big companies have owned thier media such as newspaper, magazine, and radio broadcasting company. Since these public eyes are related with thier stakeholders, those can not give fair impormation to people via their media means. Let us consider Iraq war. Numerous news media which interwined friendly the Ameraca mentioned that this war must be need to peace of the world. However, the articles in Middle-East countries, which have an antegonistic treat to America, released that America is a violent country. Likewise, the public press reveal their group position without considering opposite side.
Moreover, many media companies have distorted true facts in order to allure the public interests. They can obtain a lot of profits via like advertisement as attracting people's intersts. As a matter of fact, there was an event that some broadcasting firm released distort information, very dangerous ingredient had founded in a snack of company A. However, it turned out for a company B, which is a competitor of company A, to fabricate plan. A company B was owning a big newspaper company. To win in a snack market, a company B released untrue information.
In conclution, I strongly believe that the media have lopsided their stakeholder side. Maybe that is also likely to a strategy to win on the press market. However, I firmly assert that the news media should be fair and unbiased for people.
