it is more important to give studnets prizes or awards for students's efforts than acheivement |
there is an argument about whether it is more improtant to give prizes or awards studnet's efforts than acheivement. although some people say that studnets are evaluated according to the their ability, i strongly believe that students should get a lot of prizes more than their grades . there are two reasons of this. having a prize gives motivation to students for their learning and they can release their daily stress that students are trying to get awards. i briefly describe some reasons further in my essay.
fist of all, i agree with the fact that teachers provide students with awards or prizes though they don't have satisfied results. that is because studnets can study more hard by getting awards. in my experience, when i was in highschool, i had studied hard to enter university. but, one day, i had a slump because i always didn't have score that i want. so i was very discouraged and i thought that i gave up about my entering university. at that time, my home class teacher encourage me to have a confidence and gave me a lot of awards such as prizes for a dilligent students. so by getting awards, i cheered up and overcame my hardship. i could enter university.
secondly, students can get rid of their stress caused learning. in the competitive society, students want to have a lot of prizes. but only a few students who get high grades are given their prizes regaredless of their efforts. also, having many prizes is a good advantage to go to the university, so studnents are likely to have a lot of efforts for a few prizes. and they are under stress. so although they study hard for prizes but don't get any prizes , they feel as if they are looser
to sum up, though there are some thought to consider, i think that it is more important to give prizes for efforts than acheivement |
