People do many different things to stay healthy. What do you do for good health? |
As food became easily accessible and markets developed to provide convenience to consumers, people are now becoming interested about the ways to stay fit and maintain good health. Many of these people decide to take supplements and vitamins to support their energy and minerals. However, I think doing consistent exercise and consuming healthy food is the best methods for keeping good health. First of all, regular exercises help people to stay physically fit. While stretching and constantly moving muscles to develop, people become more energetic and flexible. Therefore, they become less vulnerable to diseases and are able to prevent any injuries since their bodies are flexible to quickly respond to certain dangers. For example, I started taking yoga classes when I was in my second year of middle school. Here, I was able to stretch my tightened muscles and learn the ability to balance. Soon after I started taking this class, I was able to feel getting less cramps and exhaustions even during long hours of studying. Moreover, when I was about to fall over the stairs one day, my body quickly reacted and balanced to grab the handrail. Like this, I was able to save myself from getting hurt from having regular exercise. Consuming healthy food is another way to sustain a healthy body. Throughout the world, the amount of meat consumption is increasing. As a result, the number of serious diseases such as cancer and diabetes has risen greatly. Scientists are now emphasizing the importance of consuming enough vegetables and fruits as a replacement of eating meat. My family and I for example, became vegetarians since our father had cancer. Since we knew that the cause of his cancer was from excessive amount of meat ingestion, my mother started to make our meal tables with healthy vegetable dishes. Not so long after our meal tables changed, his cancer was treated. Moreover, our whole family members were able to feel our bodies lighter and fitter than ever. The best ways to sustaining healthy and durable body are to constantly exercise and eat healthy food. Just by spending few hours to move and bringing small changes to meal tables, people are able to gain a healthy body that supplements can never replace. After all, health is the most important factor of our life’s happiness. |
