▶ Your Answer :
It is debatable whether doing several tasks
at once is better than doing tasks one at a time. This is an intriguing
question because opinions concerning this issue can be different depending on
the individual perspectives. In my opinion, however, I support that doing
several tasks at once is better for the following reasons.
To
begin with, people should not do tasks one at a time because to avoid adding
pressure on their already busy schedules. To be specific, doing one thing
slowly consumes a lot of time and energy, which makes people tired and
inefficient. Many people today are busy with their life full of tasks and
responsibilities. They can keep a balance in their daily lives only if they
successfully multitask and focused on at the same time. For example, when my
sister was in college, writing reports took too much time for her. Therefore,
she felt exhausted before she finished them. Since she did assignments one at a
time step by step. Due to inefficiency, she changed her method. She wrote
several reports at once. She wrote business report and finance report at the
same time, because it was very similar topic and she searched Internet, writing
music report. Over time she could save a lot of time. Moreover, she did not
have to worry about not finishing reports and wasting time. Through this
experience, I realized that doing several tasks does not add pressure on my
busy schedule.
In
addition, doing several tasks at once helps people build necessary skills to
succeed. In fact, it allows people to do work efficiently and fast. As modern
society is becoming increasingly competitive, today's world requires people
with speed and punctuality. People can do this better by multitasking. For
instance, when I worked for the bank, I finished tasks one at a time. Whenever
my boss assigned me many things such as preparing presentation and reports, I
always took a long time to complete them. Therefore, my boss was so irritated
to delaying the projects due to me. On top of that I could not finish all the
tasks in time. However, my peer got done very well and thus he recommended me
to do several tasks at once . He showed me how to plan and how to practice
multitasking. With his advice, I could implement that right after. Thanks to
him, I could make it in time. Moreover, I did not have to worry about delaying
projects and being scolded by my boss. Over time, I could get promoted by
effective way to finish the perfect project.
In
conclusion, I firmly believe that doing several things at once is a lot better.
All things considered, it is my belief that my argument regarding this topic
can be effectively and precisely delivered with the reasons mentioned above.
