▶ Your Answer :
Undoubtedly, amount of exercise for getting
to improve physical health plays a significant role in people’s daily live in
many of the places where they play or work. Some people prefer exercising
alone, while others prefer exercising with a group of people. Both sides may
have their own reasons to support their views. If I were asked to choose one, I
would say that exercising with a group of people is better than exercising
alone. There are several reasons as follows.
To
begin with, when people are working out with a team of people, it can
contribute to the overall happiness. It gives them a chance to experience
different from what they would do in their routine life. A new experience is
likely to prevent them from feeling bored. For example, when my sister was in
high school, she often felt depressed thinking that her life became an
exhausting routine. To survive a competitive world, she spent a whole day
studying all academic subjects, hoping that she could outdo others. Although
she made constant effort, it was not easy because everyone was working as hard
as she was. Fortunately she was able to deal with such pressure and stress in a
safe way by playing soccer, getting personal training and improving her physical
health. When she did play soccer and get personal train, she did not have to
think about complicated things such as studying academic subjects and worrying
about exam. By doing this, she was able to let off some steam. Without this
experience, she would not have escaped from feeling bored.
In
addition, exercising with group such as gathering different country can allow
people to learn how to mingle well with others. It exposes them to different
lifestyles, customs and cultures. Such exposure is likely to help them to
knowledge that different values exist, to be comfortable with it and to understand
diversity back ground. For example, when I was eight years old, I saw one of my
classmates eating his meals with bare hands. I felt very uncomfortable by his
behavior because it was my first seeing someone like that. I sometimes made fun
of him and kept my distance from him. However, after working out with group,
including that many people came from different cultures, I got used to
different cultures. I realized that we had just different eating styles. In
fact, we had a lot in common in way that we all cared about our family and
friends, were committed to relationship and got easily hurt by what others say.
As a result I no longer keep my distance from them and make friends with them.
All
in all, I firmly believe the importance of exercising with a group of people cannot
be overestimated in life. |
