If I were asked to choose one, I would say that exercising with a group of people is more effective for improving our health. There are the reasons as follows. To begin with, exercising with a group of people can help them to maintain activities than doing alone. Most people have a tendency to have more fun with others. It can prevent them from stopping or ceasing to exercise. I'll take my personal experience as an example. Two years ago, I bought a bicycle to try to exercise by myself. However, as time went by, I became bored and irritated to continue to ride a bicycle. On top of that, it was difficult to learn about it because no one was beside me. Thus, I decided to learn other activities. After stopping bicycling, I joined the basketball club. It was more fun than I expected and I was able to do exercise continuously with people. Also, they taught me several high skills of basketball, so it allowed me to continue the exercise. As a result, until now, I am doing basketball periodically and become more healthy. If I did not join the basketball club, I could not gain health. In addition, it is important to maintain the balance of our body to improve our health. We should use a variety of our muscles, but the activities such as running, walking and bicycling tend to use only the power of legs. For example, my cousin, John, he really liked running and walking. Even if he was alone, he exercised hard to improve his health. However, compared to his endeavor, because he only used his legs to exercise, he did not have enough power in his arms and chests. This hinders him from improving his health and keep balancing in his body. He was weaker than other people who did group sports activities steadily. In brief, the importance of keeping healthy cannot be overestimated to pursuit the happiness in our daily lives. Also, we should choose more effective ways to improve our health. The effectiveness of exercising with a group far outweigh those of doing alone for the reasons as I have mentioned above. This trend will continue and pass down to the next generation. |
