▶ Your Answer : Some people might say that watching a performance in person has more advantages because they can see it by their own eyes. However, in my opinion, there are more benefits by viewing performances on television for the following reasons. To begin with, watching a production on television help people to save money and time as well. In order to purchase the ticket or drive to the see the performance, it will certainly take sizeable sum of money and time. For example, let's assume that there is a soccer match held in Brazil and a korean businessman wants to view the game. However, the businessman has no way to go to Brazil and cheer the game before the next day of work. It will not only be expensive to buy the plane and the soccer ticket but also require time go and come back from Brazil. In this situation it will be much more beneficial to just watch it on television without paying money. On top of that, viewing on television can make people watch more specifically. If people watch a performance in person they have a big risk to miss the game points which is out of one's view sight. Whereas, on television they can see the performance from various aspects thanks to the cameras. From my experience, when I went to exhibit a musical, I sat on the third floor. It did give more inspiration by listening it in person. However, I could not view the actors emotion which is a major view point to be immersed in the performance, but one day I had a chance to take a look at the same stage by television. That day I could easily search all the actors expression. To sum up, watching a performance through television allow people to not abuse money and time, also, to catch more specific points. In this regard, I do not agree to the opinion that is more beneficial to see performances in person. |
