▶ Your Answer : Some people think that it is better to take online
classes than to attending traditional classes. However, I disagree with the
idea that online classes are better than traditional classes for the following
reasons. First, people can improve their relationship. Second, people can learn
materials more efficiently.
First of all,
people can improve their relationship. What this means is that since most of the classes require at least one group project, if people take traditional classes,
they have to spend time with other people. This creates opportunities to
communicate with them and exchange thoughts, which creates fun and good
experience together. However, it is impossible that people can get these
opportunities if they take online courses. According to a survey done by JYP
institute of education, 80% of the respondents said that traditional classes
help their relationships. This is due to the fact that there so many opportunities
to interact with other students. They explained that there are a lot of group
activities in their classes. They said that from the activities, they can make
friends easily and be friendly with their teachers or professors just by taking
the classes. This clearly shows that taking offline classes is helpful for the relationship.
Also, people
can learn more efficiently. To be specific, if they take offline courses, they
can get more information than online courses. This is because, in the online
courses, the lecturers teach students by manuals. However, in the offline
classes, even though there are manuals since teachers can know students’ level
directly, teachers can teach students more efficiently. Also, students can ask
their lecturers about materials in their classes, and the lecturers can try to
make the students understand the materials. If students have some
problems with classes, teachers or professors can give them effective advice.
Let me bring my personal story as an example. When I was in college, at first,
I took online courses since I thought that it is convenient. However, there were
some concepts that I could not understand. Although there were Q&A services,
if I asked lecturers about materials in the classes, the lecturers just had
given formal answer, such as giving me pictures about solutions to homework.
Also, I had waited a few days for getting answers. On the other hand, when I
took offline courses, my professors try to understand us and make the classes
not boring. Also, if I ask about somethings that is regardless of whether the
things are related to the classes, they gave me effective advice and answers. This
clearly shows that offline courses can be helpful for learning more efficiently
than online courses.
In conclusion,
people can improve their relationships since they can interact with other
people. Also, since in offline classes, instructors try to understand their
students and give them a lot of effective advice, the classes help students
learn more efficiently. In this regard, I strongly insist that conventional
classes are better than online courses. |
