▶ Your Answer :
There might be some people
who believe movies and television have more negative effects than positive
effects to young people. However, I personally disagree with the above idea for
the two subsequent reasons. First, it can broaden people’s knowledge. Second,
watching movies and television help them relive stress.
First, many people watch
televisions and movies to expand their knowledge. This is because getting knowledge
from televisions and movies can be more easy and convenient than other ways
such as reading a book. Let me bring up my own story as an example. When I was
in high school, I was student who had less concentration than other students.
Even though I wanted to be a diligent student for teachers, it was hard for me
to read a book with sitting down for a long time. At that time, my history teacher
gave me advice that watching history movies can help you to study and broaden
knowledge. So, I started to watch history movies and I could get a better score
in the history test than before due to this movies.
Second, nowadays, many
young people are having burdens from school and their daily lives. To get out
of stress, they try to do many things. Among them, watching movies and
television are the best way. This is because they have to focus on movies or
television’s stories which make them not think about their life issues. I have
my personal experience for this. When I was having a difficulty to get a job, I
felt down and really stress out. So, I decided to take some breaks for me, and
then I went to the movie theater with my friend named Anna. I watched “iron man”
and I had no choice but to concentrate on the movie’s story. I was totally
fascinated in the movie and I could get out of my stress just for a little.
After I came back, I could feel better and it made me try to do my best.
In conclusion, movies and
televisions not only broaden knowledge but also relive stress from everyday
lives. In this regard, I strongly believe that watching movies and television
provides postitive effects. |
