▶ Your Answer :Some people says that parents have more influence on a child’s successful school life than classmates. However, I disagree with that idea. In my opinion, classmates have more impact on successful school life. First, it is very common that students motivate each other in order to enhance their ability, skills, and studying. Second, classmates give useful advice to one another because they have similar interests, worries, and objectives.
First of all, students encourage their classmates to do better for their classmates. It is not that difficult to see that classmates in the same class compete in a good way to get better scores, praise, or scholarships. Motivated by their peers, students study hard so as to get those benefits. In a recent study has shown that even children study hard and enjoy school life more in a competitive environment. They learn and imitate good attitudes and skills from their classmates. This type of relationship is getting harder as students enter adolescence. They take into consideration their classmates’ recognition whatever they do in school. In this regard, we can say that students have a more significant effect on each other.
Secondly, most students spend a lot of time together studying many subjects, which include mathematics in school. They can help each other to solve some difficult problems in mathematics. Classmates can give their friends very useful tips in regards to solving a difficult quiz in mathematics. Aside from mathematics, classmate can help someone who are in trouble with worries. Most of the students have a difficulty deciding what they will do in the future, which is so-called a career problem. Setting an objective is very difficult for them. At that time, classmates’ advice is very helpful since they share similar interests.
In summary, I firmly believe that classmate have much more influence on a child’s success in school. Students motivate each other in a good way. Not only that, they can advise their friends effectively.
