▶ Your Answer :
It is debatable whether it is difficult for teachers to be
popular and efficient in teaching. It is an intriguing question because
opinions concerning this issue can be different relying on individual
perspectives. In my opinion, however, I strongly support that It is not
difficult to be a popular and efficient teacher in the class. Furthermore, I
think that being popular and efficient has mutual relations.
First of all, popular
teachers become efficient in teaching without any additional effort. To be
specific, if the teacher is liked by a lot of students, they usually
concentrate on the teacher’s class. In addition, because students have a
positive impression on the teacher, they become motivated to study the subject
harder than other ones which are taught from teacher they don't like. For example,
when I carried out teaching practice in high school, my teacher was in charge was a
physics teacher who is adored by various students. Although most students didn’t
like that subject, the classroom’s atmosphere which she educated was good, and
gradually they started to have interest in physics. As the consequence, the classes
taught by her got far better scores than other classes in the final exam.
In addition, in most
case, efficient teacher also becomes a liked teacher in the class. To
illustrate, if a teacher delivers knowledge effectively well, students follow
the teacher naturally, because they have respect and get favored impression while
taking his or her class. For instance, when I was a university student, the Korean
Literature professor was very proficient and always did her best to convey
various information, for example by giving a lot of examples of literary works,
and leading discussion from students well. Therefore, I learned a lot from the professor’s
class, and I started to admire her because she fulfilled her duty as an educator
all the time. Also, she increasingly got popular in school, getting a lot of positive
review comments in school student’s community.
In conclusion, I
firmly believe that it is not difficult to be both a popular and efficient
teacher. All things considered, it is my belief that my argument has been
effectively and precisely delivered with the reasons mentioned above. Never
should we forget that this issue may have a huge impact on our future.
