▶ Your Answer : There might be some people who don’t agree with the opinion that a
person who drives his or her own car during rush hour in a crowded city should
be charged a fee. However, I personally think the above idea is need to be implemented.
There are two subsequent reasons. First, cars during rush hour can cause
traffic jam in a metropolitan city. Second, a new policy about a fee can reduce
environmental pollution.
To begin with, so many cars in a city may cause traffic jam. Traffic
jam is impediment for people to commute in time. For example, I always use a
bus for work. But, on a specific street, that bus has been being trapped
because of traffic jam. In the bus, I feel uncomfortable by being rushed every day.
And I ended up thinking about being necessary of the public transportation,
because its one of many benefits is to eliminating time going to a destination
during rush hour.
On top of that, if the new policy about a fee is enacted, it can
prevent environmental pollution. People can be inclined to do not use his or
her own car by charging a fee. The fuel from cars produces so many pollutants,
and it can cause making the greenhouse effect and destroying the ozone layer.
According to a study conducted by the Institute of the National Environment
Center, one of the major causes of air pollution is gases resulted from car’s
fuel, gasoline. Therefore, they recommend not using cars as a transportation to
reduce air pollution more effectively.
To sum up, a lot of cars during rush hour provoke traffic jam in a
big city and a fee can diminish amounts of usage of people in a crowded city.
In this regard, I firmly believe that a person who uses his or her private
vehicle during rush hour should be charged a fee. |
