Undoubtedly, diet plays a significant role in people's daily lives. Some people think that governmnets should do practice a policy that they make their citizens eat a healthy diet, while others do not. Both sides may have their own reasons to support their views. If I had to choose one, I would say that it is very dangerous suggestion that government designate the diet of people and check their eating, so I disagree with that contends. There are several reasons as follow.
To begin with, When government rules their citizen's diet, it could bring an critical decrease in their life happiness. This is because, ususally, people choose their diet depending on thier daily mood. Thus, the prohibition of selecting what they want to eat would take the right to do what they want to do from them. When people loose their baisc right, they might be easily frustrated. For exmaple, many businessman like to go to have a lunch on their working days because it is a break time for them. In the lunch time, they pleasantly enjoy the meal what they really want to eat, hoping to reduce their work stress. By selecitng the food, they could realize their own will to do something, and it cause make them happy and relieve thier stress. What if they should eat foods provided by governments regularly. It is certainly likely to occur a terrible stress on them.
In addition, the policy to designate the healthy diet and let their citizens to eat it would not be effectively active on people. By means of healthy diet, it is not the same for all the citizens. In fact, because people have different healthy condions depending on their age, sexual and their own genetic genes, it is required for them to be treated seperately, rather than being equally treated. For instance, the read meat like cow or pig cause different impacts on people. For some people, it is really good for their health by having proteins to them. However, it causes serious side effects for some people who need to be cautious for eating protein. On top of that, there are many foods that bring various effects to people relative to their health conditions. Consequently, it is unrealistic for government to survey and research the conditions of all the citizens for their appropriate policy to make good results. Thus, it would not be effective for doing that policy.
All things considered, the advantages of not letting people to eat what government designated far outweigh for those of having people to do that for the reasons that I have mentioned above.
