Some people think that the elderly need
exercise more than young people do. However, in my opinion, the elderly do not
need to exercise more than the younger for the following This is because of two reasons. The
elderly can get hurt by too much exercises and it is more important that young
people exercise.
To begin with, there is a possibility of getting hurt
when the elderly exercise. Because As the older people are usually weaker than youngers, it is highly likely that the health of elderly get worse. the
risk of hurt will always be there, especially with tough activities. For
example, one of my friend’s grandfather aged whose age is seventy enjoyed riding a
bicycle. Then, one day when he was riding his bicycle, he fell down to the ground from bike and hurt a lot. In addition, he was too old to heal injury fastly.
On top of that, young people need to
exercise more than the elders do. The reason is that because a person who exercised a
lot when he was young would be more healthy in the future. Many studies have shown founded
that it is good for physical ability to have a regular exercise continuously from younger age.
Actually, my brother was born with weak body, but when he was in elementary
school, he played soccer, basketball and so on. Then he could have great
physical condition now.
To sum up, when the elderly exercise
excessively, it will not help them stay healthy but hurt them. Furthermore, it is better
to exercise more at young age than do so much activities when you are aged.
In this regard, I strongly believe that the
elderly do not need exercise more than young people do.
