▶ Your Answer : There is a controversy over whether Anasazi moved to other regions because of severe drought sever grought or not. The rReading passage agrees with it but the lecturer has a totally different perspective.
First, the lecturer asserts that even when the crops were are bountiful, there were are about 45 percent of children population childeren who suffered from are short of nutrient. Since lots of crops were used for religious ceremony they were always experienced short of food. So the malnutrition malnutrient observed in a person's bone can't be the evidence of drought and this counters to the reading passage.
On top of that, the lecturer argues there's no reason why Anasazi didn't come back to their home even the drought had ended. It didn't take long, so there must have been are many chances to return but they didn't. It refutes the reading passage's argument arguement that they left their home with sealing to protect in the case of coming back.
Lastly, the lecturer thinks if they really left their region to make solution to the drought, then there is no reason that they moved to another area which had little moisture. It could be harsher condition to settle down and it doesn't make sense. It shows that drought wasn't the reason for their migration.
