▶ Your Answer : Some people might assert that it is also important for older people to study new things. However, in my opinion, studying when get older is not so much important as studying when people are young concerning that the young utilize the knowledge more than the older and they need the outlet for stress. To begin with, the importance of studying when you are young is higher than when you are old because the possibility of taking advantages from knowledge is greater. This is because the young tend to take risk to achieve more in the future. Like there is a saying, “no pain, no gain“, if you do not take risk and go on an adventure, it is difficult for you to get success. For example, when I was in collge, my friend learned how to make an application for mobile devices. She started a venture company and utilize the application for promoting her products. Even though she was in debt at first, she finally became a top venture company in Korea. If she was an old person, she would not be able to success because she would not take a risk to lend a lot of money. This shows that studying when you are young is more useful than when you are old. On top of that, the young need to relieve their stress through learning new things. Mostly, the young works more than the old. As a result, the young people live a more busy life and get more stress from their bosses or traffic than the old. However, they can refresh themselves and get back on track after learning new activities. For example, in my case, I had a lot of pressure while I am working at a company. Because I had to finish copious tasks everyday, I could not sleep enough. Since I learned yoga last year, I was able to relieve my stress. It was interesting and enjoyed the yoga, forgetting about the work. This shows that learning new things are more meaningful to the young because they get more stress than the old. To sum up, considering the possibility of utilizing the newly knowledge and the function as relieving stress, there seems to be no reason for contending that learning new things is more important for the older. In this regard, I firmly hold that studying new things for the young is more important than the old. |
