Some people think that without the help of the internet,
students can learn more efficiently. However, in my opinion, I strongly
disagree with the above statement for the following two reasons. First, using
the internet has a time-efficient for study. Second, the internet has numerous
amount of information.
First, the internet can save our valuable time. This is
because that we can access the internet through our phone due to advanced
technology. So we can utilize this device whatever we want. For example, when I
prepared for my Chinese exam, my biggest problem was the pronunciation but I
did not have a time to go to language school because of my tight schedule. So I
asked to my friend who major was Chinese to help me out, she recommended me
about the Chinese pronunciation application. I used that application during my
free time. And also I could check my pronunciation by the instructor through
the application. As a result, I could enhance my Chinese pronunciation without
disturbing my schedule.
Second, the internet contains a lot of information. Some
people usually called that the internet is the ocean of the information. This
saying reflects that the internet has so many sources and we can use this
benefit for our study. For example, when I was a university student, I had to
write down for my graduation essay. And I picked up the difficult subject for
my good grade. The problem was that when I went to the library to find the
information about my topic, I could not find anything. So I asked to librarian
the book was related to my topic, she told me that they did not have that book.
However, when I found the information on the internet, I took just a few
minutes. Moreover, I could get an unpredictable idea for enhancing quality of
my essay. Due to the internet, I could finish my essay successfully and got a
good grade.
To sum up, using the internet has good advantages such as
time-efficient and a lot of sources. In this regard, I personally disagree that
without the help of the internet, students can learn more efficiently.
