▶ Your Answer : Some people say that today's successful people could become succeed by adventuring, while other think oppositely. Both sides may have their won reasons to support their views. If I had to choose one, people should keep doing what they do well consistently for the following two reasons.
To begin with, as the world is becoming fast-changing, job markets require job candidates with specialized skills. In order to improve expertise, people need to have enough time. Therefore, they should not spend their time starting new things. For example, Yonsei University found a huge difference between two groups of students in the rate of employment. One groups consisted of those who spent the whole time developing their major, and other group was made up of those who spent more than two days a week working a part-time. The researcher found that the former group was more likely to find a job faster. To be specific, the former group showed higher confidence in their majors during the interview.
On top of that, when people are absorbed in only one thing, they are more likely to become successful. In order to focus on a work, people are required to be diligent, passionate, and self-discipline. When such qualities are improved, it can bring a better result in school. For example, when my sister was in high school, she was lazy and tended to be distracted easily. Naturally, she was poor in school. However, she decided to read books regularly. She has changed gradually by spending at least more than an hour reading books. As a result of constant efforts, she was able to increase grades in language class.
In a nutshell, people can specialize their skills and develop important traits through dedicating one thing. those techniques and characteristics are essential for success for the reasons I have mentioned above. All things considered, I firmly believe that it is better to devote only one job to succeed |
