Some people might say that we need to learn lessons looking back on what happened in from the past to handle problems going on now and in the future. However, in my own perspective, I firmly believe that we do not need to understand the past to deal with difficulties we have concerning that new form of obstacles occurred over the last decade and things are changing every day. To begin with, there are lots of unexpected matters which had never happened before. The best example would be global warming, which has resulted in abnormal phenomenon and climate around the whole world. People had not worried about it until industrial revolution and global temperature has been skyrocketing since then. However, the problem here is that scientists do not know how to get it over since we have not experience this problem before. (Need more story&evidence) On top of that, every problem is different because factors of each matter are changing and we encounter varying situations every moment. Therefore, the past cannot help us tackle matters we have now. For example, last week, my brother and I fought over clothing since we all wanted the same clothes to wear before going out. So, I gave him some money in return for allowing me to have them. And the thing happened again. we argued over the same boots this morning. Like I did last time, I tried to pay for that, but he did not listen to me. So, I ended up giving it up. Through this time, what I realized was that I cannot resolve problems again with the same way as I had tried. (Weak example) To sum up, nowadays, we are facing new kinds of obstacles and each problem has diverse aspects so that we cannot hand it all in the same method. In this regard, it is no use to comprehend the past to settle matters.
