First of all, the professor asserts that the assertion of building a fence does not didn’t have the good logic. logics. He goes on to explain that by building fences, we can only make a barrier in on ground. To be specific, the fence cannot make the barriers in the river, or the stream so it cannot help prevent cane toads. This contradicts the reading passage’s claims that building a fence can help prevent cane toads from spreading to other regions. Secondly, the lecturer contends that encouraging volunteers cannot help the reducing the number of the cane toads. He also says that they don’t have the biology knowledge so they cannot distinguish the cane toads. Therefore, it can make the problem of decline of the other species. This casts doubt on the reading passage’s argument that encouraging volunteers can catch and destroy the cane toads population. Finally, the speaker insists that using a new kind of virus is improper. The professor goes on to illustrate that it can also kill the native species, which so a new kind of virus can destroy the environment balance. This opposes the reading passage’s claims, which mention is that a new kind of virus that can be used to eradicate cane toads.
