Some people think that watching movies is a more satisfying hobby than reading books. However, in my opinion, Reading books can satisfy you much more than movies. Because unlike watching movies, when you read books, you can imagine the story that were is not covered by the writer.
To begin with, when you watch movies, you should absorb the story in just 2 or 3 hours, seeing and listening it. Reading books, however, could can be imagined easily creatively by the reader because it is consisted by only by texts. (글로 만 되어있어서 상상이 쉽다; 말이 되지않습니다.) For instance, I am a huge fan of Hunger Game, the novel. One day, I heard that there will be a movie of the book. I was so exited and just(informal한 표현이니 자제해주세요.)went to the movies. But, It was so different from what I imagined, and some stories parts were even cut. I was so disappointed and decided to not never went to watch the other remaining series. I thought that it is was too short too (주의해주세요!)to depict the hugeness depth of the book. And I have still read the book instead of movie, with my imagination.(문맥에 맞지 않는 문장입니다)
On the top of that, You can be satisfied easier reading is an easier way to be satisfied because with movies, you must have to go to the theater to watch brand-new movies, but with books, you can read books whenever and wherever you want. You can read books on bus, subway, and (마지막 점 전에는 콤마 대신 and 를 씁니다.)even during the break times in between of lectures.(복수 명사에 신경 써주세요.) For example, there was a poll conducted by the Cooperation of Good Reader in Korea with their 1,000 people of members as respondents. The purpose of the survey was to understand the consensus pattern about readers' behavior. The overwhelming 80% had responded that they enjoy reading books on while commuting way since modern people have do not have enough time to enjoy their pastime(enjoy를 넣지 않으면, 여가 황동 할 시간 없어서 책을 읽는다는 식으로 들려 문맥에 맞지 않으니 주의 하시길 바랍니다.), they can use time much more effectively by reading books on public transit.(여기서도 문맥과 맞지 않게 책 읽는것 이 즐겁기 보다 그저 시간 보내는데에 효율적이라는 뜻으로 들립니다.) The survey proves that people prefer to read books on time-efficient way. This survey shows that people can read books easily and efficiently.(prove:증명하다, 어색한 표현입니다)
To sum up, books would stimulate people's infinite imagination, and the best hobby to for busy contemporary people. (contemporary 는 이미 현대 사람을 뜻하고 있습니다.) In this regard, I firmly think that reading books is a the perfect hobby to satisfy people. |
