▶ Your Answer : Some people asserts that universities have
to put their focus not only on libraries but also sports whereas others
hold the opposite view. As for my position, I stand on the side of the
former because of two following grounds.
First of all, physical activities promote
personal health. These days, lots of people do their work with their body sit
which affect negative effects on their body. Because of this, it is evident
that doing some exercise is necessary for their health. For instance, my cousin
always played game sitting on the chair so he was fat and his muscles were very
weak. So, I suggested him to play a tennis in the university club because he
likes sports games. At the first time, he struggled a lot, but he gradually
enjoyed it and consequently, he can make his body healthy. Also, when he have
some break, he asks me to play tennis together.
Secondly, sport is a good way to encourage
students to interact. On the grounds that sports require cooperation, students
are not only able to practice together, but also hang out with their friends.
In my experience, I joined a valley ball club in the high school. Before
attending it, I had a problem with establishing relationship because I was an
introvert person. However, during the club activities, I had to deal with
various kinds of people. It was hardship to me but my teammates understood me
and help me to change myself. As a result, I am the leader of the club and lots
of people like to talk with me of course including me.
To sum up, athletics make people healthier
and produce more chances to broad their social network. In this regard, I think
that university should provide as much budget for student’s sports activities
as they do for their libraries. |
