▶ Your Answer : It is debatable whether it is better for young
people to select a job in the same field as their parents than choose a
different career for themselves. This is an intriguing question because
opinions regarding this issue can be different relying on individual perspectives.
My opinion, however, I support that it is beneficial for young people to select
a job in a different career from their parents for several reasons.
First
of all, it is more advantageous for young people to have a different job from
their parents because it helps people broaden their perspective. To be specific,
working at different place from their parents allows people to better
understand other cultures, lifestyles, and perspectives. As modern society becoming
increasingly globalized, today’s world require person with international view. People
can do this by working at unusual place. For example, my parents are police
office, but my job is lawyer. When I was younger, I could only experience about
view of police officer. Thief is a bad men and he can not be a person who is
good however, as soon as I work as a lawyer I can see that thief can be a
virtuous person. Through this experience I realized that young people should
choose a job that unfamiliar because it is help people broaden their
perspective.
In
addition, it is better for young people to choose a different job from their parents
because it accompanies an important educational process. To be specific, working
at different situation from their parents create opportunities to be exposed to a wide range of knowledge, which
as a result allows people to obtain valuable information, stay ahead, and
attain personal growth. For example, my friend Lucy, her parents are English
teacher, interested in Spanish. After she chose the Spanish teacher, she can speak
English as well as Spanish, and learn about two cultures, lifestyles, and perspectives.
Hence, this shows that choosing a different job from their parents is beneficial
for young people since it contains a learning process.
In conclusion, I firmly believe that
it is better for young people to select a different career from their parents
than choose a job in the same field as their parents. All things considered, it
is my belief that my argument regarding this topic has been effectively and precisely
delivered with reasons mentioned above. Never should we forget that this issue
may have a huge impact on our future. |
