▶ Your Answer : Live in a small town or a big city? Which could be a better choice? The answer depends on individual differences, and logically, people from different backgrounds have varied choices. Because of its benefits to people, some people prefer to live in a big city, while others prefer to live in a small town. The way I see it, it is more beneficial to live in a big city rather than a small town. Personally, I am inclined to believe that its pros offset its cons. The benefits are viewed in three different ways below.
One of the key reasons is that a big city has well organized public transport systems. To be specific, it is easy to get around a city without driving. People who do not have a car might have some difficulty to move around when they live in a small town where there are no well-organized public transport systems.
Every day morning to me for instance, subway and bus make me possible to go to university. If I live in a small town, it is much harder to go to university every day.
Another important aspect of this is that a big city has a better hospital than a small town.
In other words, when I or my family get an emergency situation like a severe car crash or stroke, a big hospital that equipped with various kind of medical equipment would be helpful for quick first aid.
For instance, when I was a child, I got a car accident. Fortunately, there is a university hospital near the place where the accident occurs. So I could go to the emergency room very quickly, and I can get treatment very fast.
Conclusively, the unparalleled privilege of this standpoint is that a big city is more convenient than a small town. To put it again, a big city has lots of stores than a small town. One example could be convenience stores. If you want to buy something to eat or drink, you can just go to a convenience store nearby to your house. But in a small town generally, a convenience store is far from your house
Looking at all the statements above, I am in prefer to live in a big city.
