▶ Your Answer : Some people think that students are influenced by their teachers a lot. However, in my opinion, they are influenced much more by their friends. This is because the following subsequent two reasons. First, students spend much more time with their friends than with their teachers. To be specific, their friends are generally classmates. So they go to school together, spend a whole time in the school together, and hang around after school together. What it means is they spend a bunch of time together even more with their family. It is natural they influence each others. In my case, I hardly remember the name of teachers when I was in high school. However, I am able to remember almost every friend's name. Futhermore, students share their experiences and feeling each other because they are in same age. Even though teachers are generous, It is hard to share their minds for teachers and students. They have too much gap in their ages to share their feeling. Sharing experiences let them learn from each other. For instance, I participated in reading club with my friends. After we read some articles on the newspaper, we freely shared how we think of the main problems of society. It is possible because we are friends and classmates. If we were in same situation with teachers, we might have thought it as a homework. To sum up, students are influenced by their friends a lot. Since they have much time along with themselves, and they can share their think freely each others. In this regard, I firmly believe that the students are influenced by their friends than by their teachers. |
