Undoubtedly, figuring out the most
effective way to work productively plays a significant role in people’s daily
lives in many of the places where they play or works. There are many reasons that
to have a quiet environment, to know to get reward and to have your academic
interest. Respective sides may have their own reasons to support their views.
If I were asked to choose one, I would say that knowing to get reward is the
most effective method to work productively. There are several reasons as
follows.
To
begin with, when teacher reward to their students, it allows them to improve
their academic performance such as homework and work in class. Money is
necessary to get many of the things that people want, including the necessities
in life and luxury items. When students are rewarded with what matters, they
are likely to make more effort, bringing better results. For example, John, my
youngest brother did poorly in high school. He got distracted easily,
procrastinated and acted on impulse. He was lazy, selfish and passive in class.
However he has changed little by little after he transferred to other school
that students paid reward incentive at the end of the semester based on
academic performances. He realized that his active academic performance helps
him improve his grades and get to reward, while his laziness could negatively
affect his high school life. Thanks to getting reward, he was able to maintain
a good behavior by raising his grades. He was able to excel thorough out in
school and received straight A’s in class. Without rewarded, he would have been
fallen behind during his high school life.
In
addition, knowing to get reward can contribute to an increase in overall
happiness. It gives them a chance to improve knowledge and skills and thus be
confident about themselves. High confidence tends to prevent them from inferior
to others. For example, when my sister was in high school, she often felt
depressed thinking that her life became an exhausting routine. To survive a
competitive world, she spent a whole day studying all academic subjects, hoping
that she could outdo others. Although she made constant effort, it was not easy
because everyone as hard as she was. Fortunately she was able to overcome her
feeling of meaningless by getting to know reward when she could solve mathematics
questions. When she figured out math problems, her teacher gave her to reward
and some presents. By doing this she was able to see positive she contributed
to. Every students started to respect her, allowing her to be optimistic, strong
and confident. Without this experience, she would have suffered from
meaningless life. |
