▶ Your Answer Uncertainty, government subsidies plays a significant role in people’s daily lives in many places where they work or play. When the government faces an economic crisis, there must be many ways to save money such as spending less money on schools, public library, public transit, and police. If I had to choose one, I would say that investing less money in schools is the best way to deal with a recession. There are several reasons as follows. To begin with, the government should allocate less money on schools because students can learn about what they need to know or what they want to learn by using a computer. Computers are equipped with many diverse functions that help students gain accurate knowledge efficiently. When such functions are well used, it is likely to bring a better result in performances or individuals’ lives. Also, it has a tendency to contribute to an increase in intelligent people in society. Ultimately, those men will make the recession move forward. For example, when I was 16 years old, my parents could not give me financial supports due to their hundreds of dollars of debts. So, I had to teach myself without a piece of advice. Fortunately, I could use computers and the Internet and find some useful educational materials and high quality of recorded lectures such as Ted and Pod-cast. However, there was no using-fee while I have been studying through computers. Not only that, by utilizing Mook, which is a kind of online university and anybody can use this site without tuition, I majored in economics. After being fulfilled requirements, I could receive certification of Harvard University. I think it was the most contributing factor when I was looking for a job. Now, I work for the department of marketing in Apple and do my best to contribute to the growth of Apple and national development. |
