▶ Your Answer :
I think movies tell a lot about a country. It’s
because it can tell about the things like history and culture of the country
and the movie is also made reflecting the current situation of the country.
First, movie tells about many things of the
country. By watching the movie, we can know or infer many things like the
history, culture, or politics of the country. For example, the animation movie
, ‘COCO’ is made reflecting the culture of Mexico, ‘the day of the death’. Therefore,
we can what people in Mexico do in that they, or we can know the meaning of
that culture in Mexico. In addition, the movie like ‘1987’ can show the history
of the country. Actually this is the movie which is made based on the Korean history.
So, in the movie, by showing the situation of that time, we can know specifically
about the Korean history. Like these examples, because the movies is showing
the one aspect of the country, we can say that it tells a lot about the country.
Second, movie is made reflecting the
current situation of the country. If something big events happen or there is a
big change in the country, it is reflected in the media like movie. Sometimes,
people intently makes the movie to let people in other countries know about the
thing happen in the country. For example, after the big political revolution in
2014, the movie about it was made, too. Also, we can find some examples from
the documentary films of USA, which are reporting the negative aspects of
American society.
To sum up, because of two reasons that I mentioned,
I think movies tell a lot about a country. Actually, the media is the mirror of
the society. So we can see and know about the country through the movies. That’s
why we see movies to know the world we live in.
